Christmas in rewind mode: Christmas night to pre-Christmas celebrations

Christmas night at Ronda's
Elsie took a break from candy to eat an apple from her stocking.

Christmas day at Grandma and Grandpa Monsons'
Grandpa Steve and Ads

Holy Cow! Addie and Elsie had a hay day taking tons of the pennies in grandma Monsons' pirate's chest. Notice Tyler on the bed...aware or unaware??? Also notice how many more pennies are still in the chest (a true pirate's loot).

Addie loves to play patty cake and peas porridge with Jackie

Christmas early afternoon at Rollene's
Grandpa Bradshaw and Elsie

(don't you love how Elsie is decked out in her entire princess outfit!)

Christmas morning at our house
Grandma Karen and Grandpa Steve came to see what Santa brought.
The fruit basket inspired by Ralphie and Miss Shields.

When the girls opened this gift from Tyler, Elsie said, "Oh, this is a boy's toy. I think it is for dad or grandpa."
Ah, this was one of the best gifts of the morning!

Despite Miss Happy's face, she loved the rocking horse!

Elsie is obsessed with the days of the week. Every morning she asks, "What day is it today?" so she got her own Princess calendar.

This smiley face is totally Christmas. I love it!
Brace yourself for the Jeep

Addie hung out in the Jeep most of the morning. Feet up eating a fruit strip not a care in the world.

Elsie actually took this picture of us.

Everyone has talent:
Tyler played the harmonica while Tyson, James and Tanner (the outlaws) sang. Our pianist played a lovely rendition of Pachelbel Cannon in D major

Christmas Sunday
Addie is a stinker plain and simple. She would NOT stand in front of the tree. She would NOT smile and she would NOT not lounge on the fireplace. What a goof! This seems like an attitude of a teenager...I'm a little worried.

Elsie would stand by the Christmas tree.

I figured pick your battles right? So here are our cutie Christmas girls in front of the fireplace.

Addie's not always a stinker...

Ahh, cute sleeping baby. She snuggles herself into her stuffed animals.
