Bethlehem

So we went to Bethlehem the other night. It was one of the coolest things we have done. In our neighborhood there was a live nativity. Real animals and everything. This will be an every year Burton family tradition!

Here is Elsie with the camel in the background. Tyler and I were saying that we've never been so close to a camel before.

Gingerbread house

Tyler and Elsie went to the store the other day and they bought a gingerbread house kit. Elsie busted it out of the pantry last night so we put it together.

Tyler and I love this one. Miss dramatic was so mad that we put icing on her lips. You cant' tell in this picture but Addie has icing on her lips too. Come on Elsie...everyone is doing it.

Getting closer!

Whoo-hoo! So Tyler and I may be biased but we think this is one good looking house. We can't wait to see what it will look like with the stone and final stucco color. Tyler has also reminded me that there is more trim to be added. The drywall is finished and the painters will be starting next week.

Oh, one other exciting thing that happened this week...we met with our contractor to design our closets. This will be the first time I have enjoyed a custom walk in closet.

Christmas lights

So Dani, Elsie and I helped Steve-o put Christmas lights up last Saturday. I did the tree behind me all by myself (I'm a first timer). I should take a picture of the tree all a-glow. You should see Dani's tree. She did it last year and did it so well my parents just left the lights on it all year. I just noticed that all three of our hats have a flower.
