9 months Ads!

Addie is now 9 months!
18 lbs. 14 oz. %50
29 inches %89
She has 2 bottom teeth, she can sit herself up from her tummy and she is crawling on her knees now (although she cruises faster army crawl). She signed "milk" for the first time the other day and she can give "high fives", kisses and does "sooo big".
We love Ads!

Funky Elsie

Another one of Elsie's ensembles. She popped the lenses out so she could have glasses like Dani.

House updates...getting closer

Here are parts of the kitchen so far. I'm so excited for the farm sink!

Here is the laundry room floor that Jenna laid. Tyler and Grant made cuts and I slapped the mortar on, spread the mortar and laid the stone...oh and not to forget put the spacers in. Tyler did the grouting, can't take credit for that one.

So the stucco color didn't totally turn out the way we had envisioned it in our heads, but that's okay. We still need to pick a color for the Hardy shakes and the garage, office and front doors will all be wood stained...well painted.

Sweat equity

Tyler and I (and I do mean me as well since I have now learned a new skill) laid the hardwood floor in the kitchen and eating area, the main hallway down to our bedroom and the boarder in the entry hall. Our plan was to also do hardwood in the office but we were short...oops. It's okay, we were way done with laying wood! At this point having someone lay carpet in everywhere sounds appealing.

Here is the entry hall. The blue painter's tape is a nice touch eh?

Elsie is helping Tyler prepare the girl's bathroom floor for the slate.

Boy what we will do to not totally go over our budget!

Addie's first tooth

Tyler noticed on Sunday, December 27th that Addie had a tooth. He put a puff in her mouth and she bit down on his finger. Whoo hoo Ads...way to get your bottom left tooth!

Sledding

Elsie...not a fan of sledding. She came home and told me she didn't like sledding. I guess she went and sat on the step and told everyone she would just wait. What troopers my grandma and grandpa Davis are! Or as Elsie calls them, grandma Marge and grandpa Horen (Warren is my grandpa's name)

Christmas

Elsie was spinning at Bruce and Ronda's Christmas night when she smacked her head on the corner of the coffee table. She was eating a cracker and as she cried some crumbled cracker pieces fell out of her mouth. Tyler thought it was a tooth since we didn't really see where she hit. At least we didn't have to make a stop at Kids Care on Christmas night for stitches.

Elsie talking to Clark and Kara on Christmas morning.

Here is the kitchen set Santa brought and Elsie in her super cute apron (thanks mom!) She played with the kitchen for awhile before she opened any other presents (as you can see by the pile of unopened gifts in the background).

Christmas Dresses

Els showing a little too much love.

Temple Square

Elsie will totally miss Dani when she goes back up to Utah State.

Does anyone else have a child that MUST dress themselves everyday and be proud as punch of themselves for doing so????

This cracked me up. Addie jumping one minute and the next out cold.

Cold Turkey run

So this was taken on Thanksgiving morning but I just got it off my dad's camera. I've been an every other year Cold Turkey runner. The first year I ran, then the next I was pregnant, then I ran the year after that, then I was pregnant again and this year I ran. What will I be doing next Thanksgiving morning...running the 6K or throwing up????
