First snow of the season

Who said you need a ton of snow to build a snowman?

A little Utah pride. 17-16!

Disneyland

The princesses were a HUGE hit.

Addie showing off her new Sleeping Beauty wand at Small World. Small World Christmas style was my favorite.

Poor pale Els. I felt sad for her that she had to do Disneyland while feeling so yucky. Who would have thought she'd get hit with the flu bug. Before this, the girl has thrown up only one time in her whole life. She was six months old. She did really well and carried that Tangled barbie around the whole day.

We had a blast at Disneyland despite the 24 hour flu Elsie had. It all started when the plane landed in California. Let's just say that night was not fun. She was a trooper the next day. After her two hour nap on three pushed together chairs at the Mexican restaurant in Disneyland she was a little spunkier. I'm just glad we had two days to spend at Disneyland!

Trip to Chicago and Notre Dame

So the Chicago pictures are on Dani and Nate's camera but here we are at Notre Dame. Tyler and I in front of touchdown Jesus.

It was rainy, cold and the Utes did horrible but it was totally fun. Thank heavens for rain ponchos!

Here's the water bottle I scored from some Notre Dame tailgating fans. Tyler and everyone else was pretty embarrassed that I would walk up to them and ask for a water bottle. Hey, when you have the baby bump I say use it!

Happy Halloween

Elsie drew her own Jack-o-lantern face this year.

Breakfast with the witches at Gardner Village.

Other things we've been up to.

Since I've been sick, it's sort of been a "free for all" here at the Burton's. Obviously...
In September, Elsie jumped off the bed and hit her wrist on the rocker. She had two small fractures in her right wrist. She was sporting a cool brace and a sling.

??? I don't know, I just took the picture...

Who are these un-kept children?

oops, forgot a LPO team

Summer...a few months late(r)

These are some of things we were up to this summer (in no real particular order). The season ended and I didn't' get any Cherry Hill pictures (not like we didn't spend 3 days a week there or anything). Maybe next year.
We went to the aquarium

The Nemo fish were a hit.

Addie touched a string ray.

We went to the lake many times.

We lounged on the couch eating popcorn and watching t.v.

Our weeping pine started dying.
We did fireworks on the 4th of July.

Addie had her ears plugged the whole night.

We went to Lake Powel!
Of course had the 2010 Lake Powell Olympics:
Starting event this year, the water balloon launch

Followed by the ever famous, ever funny two ski

Once your skiier rounded the island, the next team member had to fill the bucket with the super soaker while on the tube.
When the bucket was ful, the next team member had to hula hoop on the arm to the scuba gear
Put on the scuba gear and ring the bell.
The Teams:

Rainbow Bridge
We had a dance party on the boat.

Seriously contemplated the meaning of life.

Did some cliff jumping.

Mike waterskied for the first time.

Did some serious Little Mermaid slip'n sliding in the front yard.
Whew, I feel accomplished now.
