Back to Bethlehem and a snowy day

The live Nativity 2009. This seriously is the coolest thing! I'm glad we've made it a tradition. This was Elsie's favorite part...seeing baby Jesus. If you look closely you can see Joseph and Mary with baby Jesus behind us.
This was Addie's favorite part. You may recall me mentioning earlier that Addie loves animals (the whole fair experience). She loved these little lambs. She kept baa-ing. Elsie was laughing at this picture because "Ads is touching the sheep's bum Mom".

Addie in front of the camel. Elsie wouldn't even sit there for a picture because it was too close to the camel. "It might try and get me Dad". (again, you may recall the Fair experience when Elsie thought the goat was going to eat her scarf)

The first snowman of the year!

Getting ready for the snow.

Addie was a good sport. I had her ready well before Elsie finally got her act together. Ads just got a car to play with and waited.

No more naps for Elsie

So we ditched naps for Elsie. She was taking a nap in the afternoon but was then staying up too late at night. So sadly I stopped putting her down. Well the girl needs her sleep and many days she falls asleep, mostly on the couch while she's playing or watching t.v.

This is by far the funniest spot she's fallen asleep at. She was out playing in the snow (hence the entire snow outfit) and needed dry gloves. I told her they were in the back of the Jeep. Quite some time had passed and we couldn't find Elsie. I went out through the garage to see if she was on the side of the house and saw the driver's side door open. I just figured she had forgotten to close it when she got the gloves. I involved Tyler in the search and went back to check the Jeep. There she was totally zonked out in the driver's seat full snow clothes...but no dry gloves! Tyler and I laughed so hard.

Bottom line...the girl needs her sleep!

Addie playing

While Elsie is at school, Addie has all the toys and the playroom to herself. I love this, on the table and all. I had to take this picture from the back...the dolls in chairs and the baby in a bed in a bed. She's a crack up.

Thank heavens for the overflow drain

Yet another reason Tyler is the man for bath time... I turned the water on to fill up the tub, closed the door so Addie wouldn't fall in and finished the dishes. Totally forgot the bath was filling up. Good thing they make those overflow drains.

Not related to the overflowing bath tub, some pictures of the girls sporting their hot shades.

The end of November and Thanksgiving

Our neighbors across the street are major BYU fans. Thanksgiving night we made their driveway look better than it has ever looked before. It must have been a beautiful site when they pulled in from their Thanksgiving in Idaho right before the game on Saturday.
GO UTES!

Thanksgiving at Grandma Marge's. Too bad they were sitting in front of that window.

The hat parade!

Thanksgiving at Ronda's...

Addie helping with some dishes.

Tyler had just put our lights up the day before. He came out and took this picture (proud of his work) and told me to put it up on the blog. This is how I like snow...NOT on the roads, driveways or sidewalks. It was a pretty snowstorm.

The Ghost Train

Okay, so we went on the Ghost Train over a month and a half ago. I figured I'd better post these pics before December. That's the man that makes the Ghost Train possible. He has taken my younger cousins for years and now that the girls are a little bit older we all went. The Ghost Train is the Heber Creeper. It's perfect because we load the train right at the cabin. We met at the cabin, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and then set off for our scary adventure aboard the train. My grandpa waited outside the train and waved us off as we rolled down the tracks. (someone may want to clean the inside of the trains' window)

This one cracks me up! Addie was not too sure about the characters that walk around the train.

Happy Halloween

I think Addie made the best witch! She loved the broom. Held it the whole time she trunk-or-treated and trick-or-treated.
Elsie of course was a princess. She looked so beautiful. I'm loving this girly girl we have.
Our jack-o-lanterns

Elsie's first dance performance. She was hilarious. Always one extra jump, one additional spin (she's the one on the right)

Addie's first haircut

Okay, so haircut is stretching it...more like Addie's first trim.
Ahh, got to love the toddler mullet.

The Witches at Gardner Village

Of course Gardner Village and the Witches. The girls and I met Clark, Kara and Gracie for some shopping and witches.

Some happenings in October

I love this picture! It is so funny. Poor Gracie was a good sport. Her two adorning cousins couldn't get enough of her.

These were taken at my cousin Mike's homecoming and my cousin (Mike's brother) Dave's farewell. I was way stoked to have Mike home he cracks me up. Dave is in Scotland so Clark was able to give him lots of pointers. The ladies better watch out when Dave gets home, he looked pretty snazzy before he left.
