A day on the lake

Elsie likes to hand the rope to the skiers. Here she told everyone she was skiing.

Elsie loves to go on the tube. Or as she calls it the "tuba".

Smiler

Look at our little smiler!

Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo with Grandma Marge and Annee. Elsie got a little freaked out by the big fake Indian elephant which puffs air out of its nose. It took seeing a few animals out of the stroller for her to relax. Elsie and Annee thought the zebras were stinky.
Addie and grandma were thankful for each other at the zoo. Grandma Marge was able to sit and relax in the shade to hold Addie and Addie was able to ditch the hot car seat.

Painting

We repainted Elsie's room at grandma's. She was a big help, really she just loves any opportunity not to wear a shirt. Addie was obviously not too impressed as she snoozed in her swing. Tyler and I were reminded why we don't like painting. Suddenly having a professional painter do our new house sounds like a great idea.

Happy Father's Day

I took these pictures for Tyler, Bruce and my dad for Father's Day. Holy cow you would not believe how hard it was to do! Elsie would either not hold her sign up, wouldn't smile or push Addie's sign off her lap. Each picture turned out cute and it pretty much captured both girls' personality. I've learned that if it seems easy in my head chances are it will be much harder in real life.

Addie's blessing

On June 8th we blessed Adelaide Mae. Tyler blessed her in my parent's backyard. We had a hoppin' panini party with friends and family. Don't mind my red puffy eyes in the picture with Addie. Tyler gave a great blessing which left me a little emotional.

Oh P.S. isn't Addie's dress beautiful! My mom made it for Elsie and I was so excited to use it again.

Kite flying with dad

Tyler was excited to get Elsie a kite. Although her face doesn't really show it, she does like to fly it with Dad. It has only gotten stuck in a tree once (thanks to Tyler and Dani).

Sisters

Elsie feels she must either be using Addie's equipment or supervising. At least Elsie is willing to share her toys with Addie.
